Now What
I finally got the wall on the intersection of Saticoy and Woodman, in Panorama City CA, to paint my muaral. After almost a year since I made the first call to accomplish it, it's finally mine. The reason why I'm posting this on my new media blog is beavause, if it wasn't for the internet, it would have been much harder. Being still a sudent, communicating with the different offices, that I needed to communicate with, could have not been done unless I missed a lot of school. The Internet was of great assistance. Without it, a sixteen year old kid would have not been able to paint a mural, in the City of Los Angles.

The end of TV and Phone
Tomorrow, the FCC will a submit its 10 year plan to congress. The plan was designed to make the internet the main communication network in the nation. The plan will basically replace TV and phone. Some of the steps include, making the Internet available in rural ares and cumming up an Internet universal set-top box that would also connect to cable service. Even though the plan would be costly, the FCC argues it would pay for itself through the spectrum auctions, also part of the plan.

Gaahl Photoshop
The latest project in my New media class, was to make a Photoshop document out of a quote. I chose to do a quote from Gaahl, lead "singer" of Gorgoroth, one of the most brutal black Metal bands. Many things have been said about this man; some have named him satanist. The truth is that the only thing that Gaahl thinks is worth calling a god, is nature, not a character from the Bible, neither being God himself nor the Devil.
For the document's creation, I used two different pictures, one of an inverted cross and a portrait of Gaahl. For the fog effect, i used glow brushes, downloaded from Brusheezy. The font I got from dafont.com.

web cam roulette
A new website, called Chatroulette, has become popular, since its creation last December. . The concept is basiclly a conversations roulette of web chats. CNET reporter Natalie DelConte, tested the website for a report today. She met only few decent people, but most of her conversations turned wrong later on. SHe mention that one person on told her that "for every one cool person you talk to, you get 25 weirdos of pervert." To me that sounds like a pretty expensive price to pay for a coll conversation.
